Our shop opened in 1986 at 198 Shaftesbury Avenue, London on the edge of Covent Garden. Our early nineteenth century building has retained its classic lines whilst being transformed internally with dark slate floors and sand finished walls.
FREVD initially launched with table and ceiling fans and Charles Rennie Mackintosh furniture. We pay faithful attention to Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s original drawings to create the range of Mackintosh chairs and tables we sell. The Mackintosh tables are made to order for each customer and can be modified to individual requirements.
All FREVD products are created in-house by FREVD’s designers. Our range has now developed to include items manufactured in polished stainless steel, ceramics, glass and wood.
- STAINLESS STEEL: coffee pots, teapots, milk jugs and pourers, sugar bowls sugar dispensers and champagne coolers.
- HANDBLOWN GLASS: glasses for different occasions and vases.
- CERAMICS: sugar bowls, milk jugs, bowls, mugs and coffee cups.
- WOOD: salt and pepper grinders, tealight holders, picture frames and framed mirrors.
